‘Apple Pencil Pro’ spotted in code on Apple’s Japanese site

Code on Apple’s website in Japan mentions the “Apple Pencil Pro” — a potential hint at what’s to come during the company’s iPad event on Tuesday, as spotted by X user @ribu_ap712 and reported by MacRumors.

The code, which The Verge confirmed, was uncovered in the alternative text that describes the GIF for the Apple event and mentions a “Pencil Pro” several times. A version of the text translated by Google reads:
